Flame Retardants

Antimony Trioxide is used in a wide variety of industrial applications as a "synergist" with flame retardant chemicals in plastic, paints, adhesives, sealants, rubber and textile backing to increase fire safety in homes and public spaces.

ATO is also used in a variety of industrial applications:

  • As a catalyst in the production of polyester (PET).
  • As a purifying aid in some glasses, as an additive in semiconductors,
  • As a coating used in some titanium dioxide pigments,
  • As a component in the production of complex inorganic colored rutile pigments

AMMONIUM POLYPHOSPHATE ısıtılmış amonyum hidrojen fosfattan üretilir.
It is used as an emulsifier and stabilizer. It is used as an enhancer of nutrient and water retention properties for yeast.
It generally finds use in finished cheese and frozen poultry.
